Copyright & DMCA Policy
Effective and last updated September 30, 2026
We respect intellectual property rights, including copyrights in architectural works and plans, and we expect users to do the same. We respond to notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).
1. Reporting infringement
If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a written notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, such as a plan name, catalog number, or link to the original.
- Identification of the infringing material and enough information to locate it, such as a URL, library item name, or shared link.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
For trademark or other rights concerns, email us with the details and we will review them under our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district where we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We will forward the counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
3. Repeat infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
