Subscription & Billing Terms
Effective and last updated September 30, 2026
These terms are part of our Terms of Service and apply whenever you buy a plan or add generation funds. Payments are processed by Stripe.
1. Plans
- Free — no charge. Free includes access to the VR headset app, public material and model libraries, project performance tools and automatic model optimization, 250 MB of total storage, and files up to 30 MB. Free does not include floor-plan conversions.
- Builder — $7.99 per month plus applicable tax, billed in advance. Builder includes full voice controls and expanded VR headset access, unlimited projects within the plan's storage limit, meetings with live editing for up to two total participants, public material and model libraries, project performance tools and automatic model optimization, 5 GB of total storage, and files up to 100 MB. It also includes three lifetime full-shell floor-plan conversions with source-supported furnishings. General hosted 3D asset and room generation is not included.
- Pro — $19.99 per month plus applicable tax, billed in advance. Pro includes full voice controls and expanded VR headset access, unlimited projects within the plan's storage limit, meetings with live editing for up to eight total participants, public material and model libraries, project performance tools and automatic model optimization, 50 GB of total storage, files up to 500 MB, and access to metered generative VR tools. It also includes three full-shell conversions with source-supported furnishings per billing month. Monthly conversions reset on the billing anniversary and do not roll over. These included conversions do not debit generation funds; custom 3D asset, floor-plan, and room generation and revisions are paid separately from generation funds.
Plan features and limits are described on the pricing and billing pages at the time you subscribe.
Included conversion allowances belong to the account. Deleting projects, conversations, or generated assets does not restore a used allowance. A failed conversion releases its reservation when no output of the selected conversion type was delivered.
2. Automatic renewal
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree that your subscription will automatically renew every month and you authorize us to charge your payment method the plan price, plus tax, at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Your renewal date is shown on the Billing page. We ask for your express consent to these terms before your first charge, and we email you a confirmation that includes these terms, the cancellation method, and the price.
If we ever offer a free trial or promotional price, we will state when it ends, what you will be charged afterward, and how to cancel before you are charged.
3. How to cancel
- Sign in and open the Billing page.
- Select Manage subscription to open the secure Stripe billing portal.
- Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
You can also cancel by emailing support@vrbuildkit.com from your account email. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep paid access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not delete your projects or your purchased generation funds.
4. Price changes and reminders
- If we change the price of your plan, we will email you between 7 and 30 days before the new price applies, with instructions for cancelling. The new price starts at your next renewal after the notice period.
- For subscriptions that last a year or more, we send a yearly reminder describing your plan, price, renewal frequency, and how to cancel.
- Taxes may change with the law or your billing address without advance notice.
5. Generation funds
- Generation funds are a prepaid balance used only to pay for hosted generation jobs, such as 3D asset, floor-plan, and room generation, in the Service.
- Each separately billed hosted generation job is charged from measured AI-provider usage attributable to that job, plus a 10% service and reliability margin. The margin is applied once to the job's aggregate measured direct cost and rounded to the smallest supported billing unit. Ordinary worker compute and storage are included.
- Custom generation requires an active Pro membership and enough purchased generation funds to reserve the entire all-in maximum shown before you approve the job. Paid work stops before reaching that maximum. You pay for measured work performed plus the disclosed margin, including work on incomplete or budget-limited results; payment does not guarantee completion or a particular quality level. We return unused reserved funds after settlement. Continuing requires a new estimate and approval. An automatic reload does not raise a job's approved maximum. If reliable usage is unavailable, the job is held for review instead of assigning a fabricated charge.
- Generation conversation and plan reviews are separately metered planning requests. The planning maximum is displayed before you send or review, and previously paid planning is excluded from a later generation reservation.
- The full amount of generation funds you select is credited to your balance. A card processing charge using the displayed formula of 2.9% + $0.30, calculated on the total charged, is added as a separate line. For example, a $10.00 purchase is charged as $10.61 and a $500.00 purchase is charged as $515.25. The exact charge is shown before you pay; the amount retained by a payment processor may vary by payment method or processor rules.
- Generation funds purchased on or after September 20, 2026 expire one year after the payment date. Each purchase is tracked separately, the term is disclosed before payment, the exact expiration is shown in billing activity after payment, and the earliest-expiring available funds are used first. Purchased balances sold before this policy as non-expiring remain grandfathered. Where applicable law requires a longer period or no expiration, that law controls.
- Promotional or included credits we give you for free may have a different expiration date shown in your billing activity.
- Funds have no cash value except as described in Refunds or required by law, and cannot be transferred, sold, or used outside the Service.
- We may reverse funds added in error or through fraud, chargebacks, or abuse.
6. Automatic reload
Automatic reload is optional and off unless you turn it on. When you turn it on and save your settings, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method the reload amount you choose each time your available generation funds fall below your threshold, up to the monthly maximum you set. Each reload is charged as the reload amount plus the disclosed card processing charge (2.9% + $0.30, calculated on the total) and appears on your billing history and invoices. Each automatic reload is a new funds purchase and expires one year after that reload's payment date.
- You can change the threshold, reload amount, and monthly maximum, or turn automatic reload off, at any time on the Billing page. Changes apply to future reloads.
- If a reload payment fails or needs extra authentication, automatic reload stops until you update your payment method and turn it back on.
- Cancelling a subscription does not turn off automatic reload. Turn it off separately if you no longer want reload charges.
7. Refunds
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time after you cancel, except where required by law or stated here.
- If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or a generation job failed because of our systems, contact us and we will correct it.
- If you close your account before purchased generation funds expire, you may request a refund of the unused, unexpired amount, less processing fees already charged. Refund requests are reviewed individually and paid to the original payment method.
- If we discontinue the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund unused prepaid subscription time and unused, unexpired purchased generation funds.
To request a refund, email support@vrbuildkit.com or use the contact form.
8. Taxes, failed payments, and disputes
- Prices do not include taxes unless stated. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, VAT, and similar taxes, which we may collect based on your billing address.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If payment is not completed, we may downgrade your account to Free.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank so we can try to fix it. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended.
9. Downgrades and storage limits
When a paid plan ends, your account moves to Free. Projects and files above Free limits are not deleted automatically, but they may become read-only until you reduce usage or subscribe again. We will give at least 30 days' notice before deleting content because of a downgrade.
